Kaagazi x Khamir is a collaborative collection of stationery where textile & paper come together to tell the story of Modern Indian Handicraft.
Based in Bhuj, Khamir helps local & traditional artisans to keep their craft traditions & livelihoods alive. One of the ways it preserves tradition is by reintroducing a holistic approach to cotton textile production in harmony to the ecology of kutch and facilitating a sustainable local production chain.
The book invites you to support the sustainability traditions of India alongwith a modern flat lay binding that is easy to use. The hardbound fabric cover is tye dyed with shibori technique in natural dyes making the book extremely durable and is finished with a handcrafted tassel bookmark.
