India Upskills Vocational Trainers for the Future
The DGT and Autodesk have teamed up to bring professional-grade design and make software to 14,500+ ITIs & 33 NSTIs, enabling trainers across India to teach digitaldesign workflows and AI-driven manufacturing skills. The initiative will upskill educators, enhance students’ employability, and align India’s vocational workforce with rapidly evolving industries such as architecture, engineering, manufacturing and construction. India is weaving design literacy into its vocational system — shifting ITIs and NSTIs from manual training to design thinking and digital making.
