Indian design school opens a satellite campus in Italy
The Design Village (TDV), a human-centred design school based in NCR, is opening its first international campus in Italy’s historic Villa-Castello di Torrazzetta (top). Students will gain residency experiences blending European design culture with Indian craft and heritage. This move marks a rare reversal—India exporting design education abroad. It gives students crosscultural exposure while building global credibility for Indian design pedagogy and heritage on the world stage.
